ABOUT DAISY

Daisy was born and raised in Bandung, Indonesia. She migrated to the U.S. in the late 90s to search for a better future for her family and be reunited with her husband. She is blessed with 4 children and four grandchildren. In 2003 Daisy found a local church that has a heart for missions, locally and globally. Daisy serves and leads the bread ministry at World Harvest Church.

In 2020 God placed a desire in her heart to go and minister to the people of Papua, Indonesia. Through her faith and determination, Daisy raised the necessary funds for travel and accommodations. Accompanied by her two sisters in August of 2021, BY FAITH, Daisy traveled to Papua on August 31st, 2021. During her, 38 days mission trip she experienced God's open hand of blessings, favor, and direction for the future mission work needed in Paniai, Papua, Indonesia. She also led over 450 people to receive Jesus as their personal savior. Daisy made a promise to GOD to develop a mission base in Indonesia and in January 2022, she began to develop the ministry of Daisy Sahertian Missions.

WHAT WE DO

Serving the people of Paniai, Papua is the most important goal of our ministry. We seek to support, empower, and provide high-quality resources to the local community in a safe and secure environment. The Paniai community is lacking basic access to clean water, sustainable food, and support for women and kids.

KIDS OF PANIAI

After the first trip to Paniai, Papua, Indonesia Daisy discovered that many kids are homeless in Paniai. They are everywhere, many have been abandoned to fetch on their own, and many are just poor. Most kids have no access to clean water, toys, nutritional food, clothes, shoes, and socks.

THE WOMEN OF PANIAI

The women or what the local calls “Mama-Mama” of “Oma” are the backbones of the local community. Most of the men in Paniai, Papua don't work. We partner with a local Pastor in Paniai on finding solutions on how to help the women through more feeding programs and education.
